Brestovačka banja, Ni jedan žitelj nema ovo mesto stanovanja.A postoji odavno,u svim vremenima povoljno za uživanje I to ni manje nego carska banja.Bila pre 150 godina,sa istim gradjevinama :jedno kupatilo,dva hotela:”kruna” i “Izletnik” I nekoliko zgrada koje su iz prošloga veka.Sve se to prilagodjavalo vremenu i potrebama rudnika.

Za nju su znali baron Herder,Feliks Kanic,Stevan Mačaj,Knez Miloš Obrenović,Aleksandar Karadjordjević, Vuk Karadžić.U Brestovačkoj banji boravili su članovi obe srpske dinastije,i uvek radi prestiža ostavljali svoje gradjevine.Tako da sada o tome svedoči Konak kneza Miloša I dvorac Karadjordjevića,koji je u rekonstrukciji.

U lekovitim vodama uživali su prvo, Rimljani,. koristili Turci,protutnjali i Nemci.Potom su tu uživali I mnogi pregaoci socijalističke Jugoslavije ,udarnici rada.Potom su tu bili znameniti srpski junaci,umetnici.

Danas ni Rimljana,ni Turaka,socijalistički pregaoci ostarili,a lekovita voda i dalje ,na 10 izvorišta, baulja ,izdašno iz dubine zemlje. Iznad banje umerena kontinentalna klima,sa podplaninskim uticajem I svojstvima subalpske klime,bez jačih vetrova.Blaga klima i oligomineralne vode sa temperaturom od 20 do 40 celzijusovih stepeni pogoduju za boravak I lečenje obolelih od hroničnih bolesti disajnih organa,oboljenja srca I štitne žlezde,kao I za oporavak od svakodnevnih stresova(menadžerska bolest).Indikacije za upotrebu vode su još degenerativne bolesti kičmenog stuba I perifernih zglobova,reumatske bolesti,obolenja centralnog I perifernog nervnog sistema,zapaljenjska obolenja kože I ženskih polnih organa,neuroze.Od zaraznih muških bolesti ovde su lekovitu vodu koristili car Galerije I knez Miloš.

Brestovačka banja samo je 10 kilometara jugozapadno od Bora I na magistralom putu Bor – Beograd preko Crnog vrh,na 385 metara nadmorske visine.

Samo nekoliko kilotera od banje je Borsko jezero,palanine Crni vrh,Rtanj I Stol,tu su Zlotske pećine,rimski grad Felikx Romulijana,malo dalje Donji Milanovac i Dunav.

Izuzetno mesto za lečenje odmor i znatiželjnike prirodnih lepota.Okružena je najvećom banjskom šumom u Evropi površine od 90 hektara.

Nije ni čudo što je Brestovbačka banja bila jedna od tri zvanične dvorske banje stare Jugoslavije.
